Dr. Vidal is the founder and teacher of the Miami International Music Jr. Academy, an intense, highly individualized institution for piano that offers a thorough and comprehensive program of music instruction for gifted young pianists ages 8-14, who want to be inspired, challenged and encouraged in their aim to make the very best of their musical talents. Over the years, Vidal has been a Lecturer at University of Miami, Miami Dade College, and Florida International University. He has taught masterclasses in other colleges such as, SUNY Oneonta, Seatlle Pacific University, and Royal Conservatory of Music Toronto, among others.
Dr. Vidal is an Associate Professor at the Joyeux Music International Piano Festivals & Competitions in Singapore; and he is the founder and artistic director of Summer in Florence, a Study-Abroad Program in Italy that includes a combination of Italian Language/Culture and Music courses for all levels and ages above 18. The program has partnered with and offer direct enrollment through the Italian Government -Accredited ISTITUTO EUROPEO.
